Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung, Chairman of the Trade Union, delivering a speech.

On behalf of the Trade Union Executive Committee, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung shared information on the historical origins of International Women’s Day (March 8) to give members deeper insight into the day’s meaning. He emphasized that this occasion is not only an opportunity to honor women’s achievements but also a reminder of the challenges they continue to face. It is a day when everyone can come together to advocate for women’s rights and equality across all aspects of social life. Through this excursion, members and employees also had the chance to connect, strengthen their bonds, and learn from one another.

On this occasion, Chairman Nguyen Quang Hung expressed gratitude to the Executive Board, department leaders, the Trade Union Executive Committee, trade union chapter heads, the Women’s Affairs Committee, and all female members and employees of the Corporation, who are both talented and dedicated. Over the years, the Corporation’s female employees have continually overcome obstacles and affirmed their capabilities, serving as an inspiration and shining examples for younger generations.

Ms. Han Thi Khanh Vinh – Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of Vietnam Pharmaceutical Corporation – also highlighted the role and position of women in Vietnamese society, referencing the tradition of worshiping Mẫu (the Mother Goddess). She noted that in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, which focus on human well-being, the contribution of a large female workforce is indispensable. These female employees are indeed valuable assets of the Corporation and the nation.

General Director Han Thi Khanh Vinh went on to thank the Trade Union Executive Committee of the Corporation’s Office and all departments for organizing this meaningful event. She noted that female employees truly deserve to be honored for their significant contributions to society. In the modern era, while women’s responsibilities are increasingly demanding, they continue to stand strong against all obstacles—embodying the eight golden words “Anh hùng – Bất khuất – Trung hậu – Đảm đang” (“Heroic – Unyielding – Loyal – Resourceful”) bestowed by President Ho Chi Minh. She wished all female employees good health so they may continue to contribute to the Corporation’s growth and sustain happy, thriving families.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung – on behalf of the Trade Union Executive Committee – extended the best wishes to all female members, hoping they would thoroughly enjoy the day’s activities, remain youthful, beautiful, and full of positive energy, and continue to help build a cohesive, united, and ever-growing Vietnam Pharmaceutical Corporation.

This meaningful early spring excursion not only brought excitement and optimism for a fortunate and successful new year to all staff and trade union members of the Corporation, but also served as an opportunity to foster camaraderie and solidarity. In doing so, it provides a strong motivation for everyone to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the Corporation throughout the challenging yet promising year of 2025.
